ＥＬＥＣＴＲＩＣＩＴＹ

       He kept his gaze on the lamp sitting on his desk. The cool feeling of the wood against his face was enough to keep his focus. On what,he wasn’t too sure,it was something to occupy his time. It was fine for a while…until he began to hear a noise..  The slight humm came from the socket,irked him. 

     It was so _quiet
                            so _subtle.
     It irritated him to no end. He could practically hear the currents of electricity flowing from the socket to the lamp. It gave him a head ache,that electric hum was the equivalent of a fly but there was nothing to stop it. If he unplugged the lamp,It would still make noise,and he would be surrounded by darkness. While that was something he could handle, but right now, He was not in the mood to deal with it. He  instead, continued to stare daggers into the nothingness.

      His thoughts,his concerns and planning were filled with that,damned humming-! Finally he couldn’t handle the noise anymore. He ripped the wire from the wall socket and let the lamp hit the floor. As this happened,he shoved himself from the desk,and landed onto his sofa. It seems like he would just have to deal with it for a while.
